Clinical Consultant, Licensed Clinical Social Worker
As a trained outpatient clinician with a private practice, I provide consulting expertise to Anton LeMieux and its clients when interpersonal or behavioral issues arise during the financial planning process. Often my skills are needed when clients and their families are dealing with concerns of eldercare, which is an area of particular interest to me.
I’m trained in a variety of therapy techniques—cognitive behavioral (CBT), dialectical behavioral (DBT), and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing for (EMDR), a treatment for trauma. Along with applying these more traditional modalities when needed in my practice, I specialize in holistic awareness approaches, such as empathic understanding, meditation, and mindfulness-based modalities.
When I consult with Anton LeMieux, I bring such technical and clinical expertise to ensure that clients’ needs are addressed through the most current and appropriate therapeutic techniques. And in all cases, I take my responsibilities to heart.
Cindy earned both a BS in social work (summa cum laude) and an MS in social work (MSW) with highest distinction from the University of Southern Maine.
Prior to pursuing social work and opening her own practice, Cindy worked in the financial services industry with responsibility in personnel management and compliance oversight and as a registered client associate.
Cindy and her husband, John, spend quality time with family and friends. She loves to dive into a book as much as she enjoys pursuing many athletic activities.
